Meow! That's what I heard when one evening, I found myself in the kitchen preparing dinner, lost in the comforting rhythm of chopping vegetables. Ugh, I groaned to myself. What now? The 'Meow' was followed by a mischievous rustling. I looked over and there he was, perched precariously on the countertop, his sleek tuxedo fur betraying his attempt at stealth. My cat Leo is not exactly the best at sneaking around, hence his meowing. Before I could react, he pounced, his target a piece of chicken that was sizzling in a pot on the stove. I lunged at him because hello, the chicken was mine and it was also burning hot!
